IOLEBA’s focus beginning the summer of 2025, and the remainder of this year is Diabetes and specifically Stage 1 diabetes, assisting American’s under the age of 65 access to lower insulin costs. As part of this focus we will be looking at diabetes as a disease across the USA and provide information, resources and action to assist the growing population in the USA that face this health issue. The positive news is there are solutions that can keep this becoming an epidemic. Presently however there is an epidemic for people with stage 1 diabetes and their need for insulin and its prohibitive costs. Our goal for the summer 2025 campaign is to help 60,000 stage 1 diabetes patients find lower cost insulin. As of 2025, about 2 million Americans have type 1 diabetes, including approximately 304,000 children and adolescents. This number comes from the American Diabetes Association and CDC statistics, which are the most up-to-date and reliable sources for diabetes prevalence in the United States.

IOLEBA’s priority for CAMPAIGN 2025 is to get the word out there are options to obtaining lower cost insulin and other meds. Equally important is providing addition resources and information for both obesity and diabetes as both are serious health issues to many Americans. Resources and tools to assist folks with diabetes are available nationwide. We will be adding informative information over the course of our campaign. The total number of Americans with type 1 and type 2 diabetes is about 38 million. This figure includes both diagnosed and undiagnosed cases. Diabetes is a major health issue in America today and we at IOLEBA will include more resources and information to assist our readers.
